- Be friendly: Smile and greet guests as they arrive, and be willing to help them with any questions they may have.
- Be attentive: Keep an eye out for guests who may need support, such as those who need help finding their seats or need help with any special needs.
- Be organized: Keep track of your tasks and responsibilities, and stay focused on what needs to be done to help the event runs smoothly.
- Be a team player: Work well with other volunteers, and be willing to help out when needed.
- Be respectful: Be respectful of guests, other volunteers and the event staff.
- Be discreet: Be aware of any sensitive information you may come across and keep it confidential.
- Be knowledgeable: Learn about YGYS and BC Children’s Hospital so that you can help answer any questions guests may have about it.
- Be grateful: Show your appreciation to the guests for their support and thank them for attending the event.
